First BJJ Class

Yesterday was my first official class of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Here I am just beat. I am exhausted. I don't know how many times I tapped out from a kimura, key lock, Americana, triangle choke and the gi choke. It's the most physically demanding art I have tried, though I haven't tried many. Class was a constant defeat but I kept going. Sometimes I thought I was going to die. My uniform was soaked at the end of class. I don't know what drill we learned, or what it was called, but I was all over it. Tried it over and over again. After the drill we "rolled", 5 minute rounds, 1 min rest. 30 minutes of that straight. We started with push-ups and mountain climbers and then on to stretching. Then into that drill. I am looking forward to many more classes. I think this will complement my existing KENPO training.
